Health Care Clinic

Working at the Health Care Clinic here in Kashipur is mostly about the daily routine. Every morning I walk down the street and unlock the front gate myself. Kashipur is a place where people mostly know each other, so you see the same faces going to the market or walking their kids to school. The clinic is just a basic setup. We have a small waiting area with some health posters on the walls and a desk that has seen better days. I keep a stack of notebooks for keeping track of who comes in. It’s not fancy or automated, just pen and paper like it's always been. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs sit outside the door in the shade when it gets really hot in the afternoon. The air in Kashipur can be a bit still in the summer, so we keep the door open to get whatever breeze there is. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or big receptionists waiting at the door. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see me or one of the others sitting there.
