Shriya Packaging Pvt. Ltd. is located about 9 kilometers out on the Bazpur Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, but we like the space we have out here. We’ve got a large facility because packaging takes up a lot of room. There are rolls of material and stacks of boxes everywhere you look. We spend our days running the machines and making sure the sizes are right. It’s a noisy environment, but we’re used to it. The staff mostly comes from the nearby villages and we’ve become a bit like a big family over the years. We eat our lunch together and talk about the weather or the local news. We aren't trying to be the most famous company in the world. We just want to provide what our customers ask for without making any mistakes. The road outside can get busy with sugar cane trucks during the season, which sometimes slows things down. Our office is just a small room at the front where we keep the records. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just rely on doing the work properly. If you come to the 9th km milestone, you can’t miss us. It’s a straightforward operation and we plan to keep it that way for a long time. There is always a lot of activity here, especially when big orders come in.
