Optimum Tours

Optimum Tours is based out of Aastha Bank Colony. It’s a quiet residential area, which is nice for us because we don’t have to deal with too much noise while we are working. We set up here because it was convenient and it felt more personal than being in a big commercial hub. We don’t have a big storefront with posters in the window. Most of what we do involves planning and making phone calls to set things up for people. It’s just a small office where we keep our files and maps. We started this because we liked traveling ourselves and thought we could help others figure out their trips too. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules and prices. It’s not always exciting work, but it feels good when a plan comes together. The neighbors in the colony are friendly, and it feels like a real community. Sometimes we have people stop by just to ask for directions or advice. We don’t use any scripts when we talk to people; we just tell them what we know. It’s a simple way to run a business. We aren't trying to sell anyone on anything they don't need. We just provide the information and help them get where they want to go. It’s been working out for us so far and we enjoy the pace.
