Oae Genuine Auto Parts is located on Thandi Sadak, Bareli Road. We are near the Nadrai Gate in Kasganj, not too far from the Bank of Baroda. The shop is full of boxes from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze back there, but we usually know where everything is kept. It’s a local place where people come when they need a specific bolt or a filter. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with suppliers or talking to people who walk in off the street. Thandi Sadak is a well-known road here, so there is always someone passing by. We keep a small kettle in the back for making tea when the weather gets a bit chilly. The front window gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes the shop quite bright. We don't have any big signs or complicated displays. It’s just shelves and counters. Sometimes we have to hunt for a part for a while if it's something unusual. We’ve been in Kasganj for a long time, so we see a lot of the same faces. It's a quiet enough life, just keeping track of inventory and making sure things are where they belong. We close up when the bank nearby finishes its business for the day and the street starts to get a bit darker around Oae Genuine Auto Parts.
