Janta Suraksha Foundation

We are located at number 038, House 59, in the Varu Bajar Soro area of Kasganj. It’s right in the heart of the market area, so it stays pretty loud outside. We don’t mind the noise though. It makes us feel like we are part of the town. This foundation is all about local safety and helping folks out. We have a small office space that we keep as tidy as we can. There are always people walking by, and sometimes they poke their heads in to say hello. We keep a few chairs for guests. Most of our work involves talking to people and filling out forms for them. It’s very basic, hands-on stuff. We don't have computers everywhere, just the one we use for the important things. The rest is done with paper and ink. Kasganj is a place where people still value a face-to-face conversation. We try to be available whenever someone needs to talk. Our door is usually open during the day. We don't have a lot of money for fancy things, so we just use what we have. It’s a small operation, just a few local people working together. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the problems people face. It’s just about being a good neighbor and doing what we can from our little office in the bazaar. We stay open late on market days because that is when everyone is around anyway. It makes for long days but we don't mind.
