Palakunnu Hypermarket Llp is based in the Kevees Plaza Building at Pallam, P.O Udma. Our address is Upw Xvii 577 & 578. We took over this space to give the people in Udma a bigger variety of things to buy. It’s a fairly large building, so we have room for things like buckets and cleaning supplies alongside the food. We aren't corporate people. We are just a group that saw an opportunity to start a business in our own area. The floors aren't always sparkling, and sometimes the labels on the shelves are a bit crooked, but we do our best to keep it running. It’s a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone is done with work. We have a few local youngsters helping us out behind the counter. They are learning the ropes as they go. We don't have a big handbook of rules or anything like that. We just treat people fairly and hope they keep coming back. It’s been a learning curve for us too, figuring out what people want to buy and what just sits on the shelf. We like being part of the Pallam community. It’s a noisy, friendly place to work most of the time. We aren't looking to be famous, just to keep the shop running well for everyone. It is a good way to earn a living while staying close to home.
