Global Associates

We operate out of Pandiyal Compound in Kadambar, Manjeshwar. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big cities, but Global Associates keeps us plenty busy. The compound has been our base for a long time, and it’s got that old-school feel to it. We deal with various trade and supply tasks. Usually, the morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what moved the day before. It’s not a high-tech operation with screens everywhere. Most of our work is done on paper or over the phone with people we’ve known for years. The air here in Manjeshwar is a bit different, and we like being away from the heavy congestion. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to make sure everything in the warehouse stays dry, which is a bit of a chore. We aren't a huge team, just a handful of us making sure orders get filled correctly. It feels more like a family business even if it isn't strictly one. We sit around the same table for lunch and talk about the news or the local weather. People know where to find us if they need something sourced. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth in the compound and around Kadambar has always been enough for us to keep going. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep our neighbors happy while we go about our business.
