Al Hayath Foods Llp is run from the Acchoori Villas, where Mohammed Khafeel takes care of the main operations. It isn't a huge industrial setup, but more of a local food business where we keep things simple. We deal with various food items and spend most of our time coordinating with different vendors and customers. Being based at a villa address means it feels a bit more personal than a cold office building. We have our regulars who know us well and we try to treat everyone fairly. There are days when the phone doesn't stop ringing and others where it's quiet enough to get some deep cleaning done. We don't have any polished slogans or marketing brochures. We just talk to people like we are neighbors, which we usually are. The food business can be unpredictable, especially with prices changing all the time, but we just take it as it comes. We store our items carefully and make sure the place stays tidy enough for work. It’s just a handful of us working here. We handle the lifting, the selling, and the cleaning ourselves. It keeps the costs down and we know exactly what is happening with every bag of food that leaves our doors. We’ve been doing this for a bit and we plan to stay around as long as people need what we’re selling. We don't need a lot of space to do things the right way.
