Wuthering Flour Mill

We are located at number 48 along the Bandaduka Road in Poinachi. It’s a pretty straightforward place to find if you are driving through the area. Wuthering Flour Mill is a small building where we spend most of our daylight hours. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the rhythmic thumping of the milling machines. It’s a sound that you stop hearing after a few months of working here, but it’s quite loud for anyone visiting. We handle a lot of different grains, so the floor is always covered in different colors of flour. Poinachi can be a bit sleepy, but the road outside gets some decent traffic from people heading toward Bandaduka. We don't have a big office or anything like that; there is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger books and a few pens. Most of our work involves hauling bags from the storage area to the machines and then packing the finished flour into smaller packets. It’s physical work that leaves you pretty worn out by five o’clock. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend hours with wrenches and oil trying to get it moving again. It’s just a typical mill life where the weather and the power supply dictate how much we can get done in a day. We just keep our heads down and get the orders filled for the local shops as best as we can.
