We are located in the Mini Industrial Estate in Kuntergeradka Kumbla. This area is known for its coconuts and that is exactly what we work with every day. Our building is one of several in this small estate and we have been here for quite some time now. We handle coconuts in all sorts of ways, from raw products to more processed items that people need. It’s a very physical job. There is a lot of de-husking, cracking, and drying that happens on a daily basis. The smell of coconut is everywhere here and it sticks to your clothes by the end of the shift. We have some machines to help with the heavy work but a lot of it still requires a careful eye and a strong pair of hands. The local workers from Kumbla are the ones who keep this place running. We don't have a big corporate office or a floor full of people in suits. Most of us are out on the floor getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to wait a bit, but we always find a way to finish the day's work. We just focus on our coconuts and making sure they are as good as they can be. It’s a simple, honest business and we don’t feel the need to dress it up with fancy words.
