Supomart General Traders Private Limited

Supomart General Traders Private Limited is based out of Moodambail House in Koliyadukkam. We are in the Perumbala area, via Klanade, in Kasargod. The pin code is 671317. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we serve the folks in this part of Kerala. We carry a wide range of general trade items, not just food. The warehouse and shop space are combined in a way that works for us. It’s a private limited company, so we have a bit of structure, but the daily life is very hands-on. We spend a lot of time on the phone with distributors and checking the quality of what comes in. Kasargod can be quite rainy, so we have to make sure the roof stays tight and the stock stays dry. We aren't a big chain with a lot of money; we’re just local traders doing our best. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure we don't overcharge for the basics. We don't have a marketing department. People find us by word of mouth or just by passing Moodambail House. It’s a quiet life most of the time, punctuated by the arrival of stock. We like being part of the trade here in Kerala. It feels good to provide things that people actually need for their homes and farms. Sometimes it's hard to get everything delivered on time because of the roads, but we do what we can to keep the shelves full.
