Sahara Travels

Sahara Travels is right here in Cherkala, and we’ve been helping people get around for quite a few years now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some desks and a lot of paper. We spend our days checking routes and making sure bookings are actually confirmed. Cherkala is a place where everyone seems to be going somewhere, so we stay pretty occupied. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We don’t use any big words or try to sell anyone on things they don't need. Usually, someone walks in, tells us they need to get to a certain city, and we look up the best way to do it. It’s practical work. We’ve had to learn a lot about how things change with travel rules over time. Our desks are usually a bit messy with notes and old timetables, but we have a system that works for us. Most of the locals know where to find us when they’re planning a trip. We like the interaction with the people who come through the door. It makes the day go by faster when you're hearing about someone's family visit or a new job they're starting elsewhere. We just keep things moving along here in our corner of Cherkala. It's a modest business but it helps us pay the bills and keep connected to the community around us.
