The noise from the old bus stand is something we've just gotten used to over at Aliya Complex. It’s a loud spot, but it actually makes a lot of sense for a travel business like ours. You can hear the conductors shouting out destinations and the buses pulling in and out from the station all day long. At Rawabi Tours & Travels, we spend our time helping folks figure out their trips. Whether someone needs a simple bus ticket to a nearby town or needs help with papers for a bigger journey across the country, we try to get it sorted. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of computers that are a few years old and some mismatched chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork. There are always maps and posters of different places on the walls, though some of them have gotten a bit faded from the sun. It’s a small team here. We aren't some big travel agency with a huge call center and fancy uniforms. If you call us, you’ll probably talk to one of the same three people every time. We’ve seen the bus stand change quite a bit over the years, but our little corner in Aliya Complex stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and filling out forms, but it’s good to help people get where they need to go.
