P.V.R Oil Mills

We've been operating P.V.R Oil Mills right here in Kanhangad for quite some time now. Our place is situated very close to the railway station, which makes it easy for folks to drop by while they're out running errands. It's a straightforward operation where we take different seeds and press them to get the oil out. The machines can be a bit noisy and the air always smells strongly of whatever we are crushing that day, mostly coconut or groundnut. It’s not a polished corporate office, just a workspace where we get our hands dirty. We sell mostly to local families and small shops in the area who need a reliable source for their cooking needs. Sometimes the machines act up or the power cuts out, and we just have to deal with it and get back to work. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people just knowing we are here and coming back when their tins are empty. We've got a small crew of guys who know how to handle the presses. It's hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but it’s what we do. We just focus on keeping the production going and making sure the oil is ready when customers show up at the gate. It's a regular local business, nothing more than that.
