Poojith Traders

Our place is at 14C on Manjeshwar Road. It’s not the biggest street in the world, but it suits us just fine. Poojith Traders has been operating from this building for several years now. It’s a brick building and stays relatively cool even when the weather gets bad. We have a small yard in the back where we keep some of the larger items. Most days it’s just the sound of the birds and the occasional car passing by. It’s a lot different from the main market areas, much more peaceful. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes things get misplaced, but we find them eventually. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who have known each other a long time. We handle everything from the paperwork to the cleaning. It’s better that way because we know exactly what is happening. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to do a good job and keep the shop running. There’s a lot of pride in just owning your own business and seeing it through every day. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we kind of like that sound. It lets us know someone is coming in. It’s a simple life on Manjeshwar Road.
