Nn Masala

Nn Masala is located at number 41 in Kuttikol. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for us. We mostly deal with local spices and getting them ready for people to use in their kitchens. Kuttikol is a quiet place and we like it that way. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights. We just open the doors in the morning and start working. It’s mostly manual labor, though we have a couple of machines to help with the heavy grinding. The air always smells like coriander or pepper. It’s a good smell to live with. We aren’t trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. Some days we have a lot of orders to finish, and other days it’s a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here at number 41 for quite a while now. Most people in the area know what we do. We don’t do any advertising. If someone needs masala, they just walk over and ask. It’s the way things have always been done here. We appreciate the local support we get. It's a simple life. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is a bit uneven, but it doesn't stop us from doing a good job. We just keep our heads down and focus on the grinding. It’s what we know best and what we will keep doing.
