Colour Plus

If you look behind Malabar Gold near the New Bus Stand, you will find Colour Plus. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, but once you know where we are, it’s easy to get to. Being near the bus stand means there is a constant stream of people and buses, which makes the area feel very alive. The noise can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to the horns and the shouting after a week or two. We work with colors here, mostly doing printing and related tasks. Our shop is small and filled with supplies. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just enough so people don't miss us. We’ve had customers who literally wandered in because they were waiting for a bus and saw our door open. We don't mind that. It’s good to talk to people from different places. The work we do is pretty straightforward. We take an order, we do the job, and we hand it over. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few of us making sure things get done properly. The New Bus Stand area is always dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our equipment. It’s a constant battle, but it keeps the machines happy. We like our little corner behind the big gold shop. It feels like our own small world amidst the daily chaos of the street.
