C Lab Design Studio Llp

Our studio, C Lab Design Studio Llp, is located in Hosdurg, specifically at 19/67/A Vadakkekovval. Kasargod is where we live and work, so it made a lot of sense for us to set up our business here. We call it a design studio, but if you saw it, you’d see it’s really just a room where we sit and do our work. We have a few computers and some tablets we use for drawing and designing things. It’s not a fancy place with expensive designer furniture or art on the walls. We mostly just focus on the screens and the projects we have in front of us. Hosdurg is a decent place to be based. It’s not nearly as loud as the big cities in the south, which helps when we are trying to think through a new design. Sometimes we get stuck on a project and have to walk around the Vadakkekovval neighborhood just to clear our heads for a bit. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who actually enjoy the work we do. We aren't trying to become the biggest studio in all of Kerala. We just want to do work that we can be okay with when we finish for the day. Most of our time is spent tweaking colors and moving shapes around until they look right to us. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of clicking. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the phone ourselves. We like the quiet life here.
