Best India Steel

The shop is located at 856P on Market Road. It’s a very busy stretch, especially because we are so near the Narthaki landmark. People are always walking past the front door on their way to the shops or the cinema. We have our steel inventory stacked up in the back and along the side walls. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes when a new shipment arrives. The noise from the street is constant—horns honking and people shouting to each other. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we handle all the bills. It’s made of old wood and is covered in scratches. We don't have a fancy showroom. What you see is what we have. Most of the day is spent measuring out pieces and cutting them to the right length. It’s hard work on the back, but we’re used to it. The floor is made of rough stone and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We get a mix of people coming in, some who know exactly what they want and others who need a bit of help figuring it out. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just sell steel and try to get the orders right. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic, but we sweep up every evening before heading home.
