Arul Knit Garments

We are located at Door No. 1/5 on Gopal Nagar 2nd Street in Karuvampalayam. Arul Knit Garments has been here for years. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when the deliveries arrive or the garbage truck goes by. The building is just a regular one, and we use the whole space for our work. Inside, it’s mostly tables and machines for the knitting. We have a small area where we keep the finished pieces before they go out. It’s not a fancy showroom with mirrors or anything. We mostly just focus on getting the knitting right. There’s always a bit of lint in the air, but that’s just how it is when you work with yarn all day long. We know the other folks on the street, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes the water doesn't run right, or the street gets dusty in the summer, but we manage. We aren't looking to grow into some huge factory with hundreds of people. We like being in Karuvampalayam. It feels like home to us. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we just walk to work every morning. We have our routines and we stick to them. If you’re looking for us, just find the 2nd street in Gopal Nagar. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just keeping the machines going until the work is finished.
