Zora Construction is up on the third floor of Pavithra Tower. That is on Kamatchiamman Kovil Street in Karur. If you know Karur, you know that area near the temple can get really crowded on certain days. Being on the third floor helps us stay away from the noise of the street a little bit, but you can still hear the traffic and the bells sometimes. The office is mostly just desks covered in blueprints and some old samples of tiles we showed someone months ago. We don't really do the whole fancy reception thing. Usually, someone is just yelling across the room about a delivery that’s late or a permit that needs signing. Karur is a good place to be for this kind of work because there is always something being built or repaired. We have a small team, and we all know each other's business. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially during the lunch hour when we are all trying to eat. We don't use much technology besides our phones and an old computer that takes forever to start up. Most of the real work happens outside anyway, so this place is just for the paperwork and the bills. It’s a plain office for plain work. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just show up, do the job, and go home to our families at night.
