Our little clinic is situated right near the bus stand in Karur district. It’s a handy spot because people coming in on the buses can just walk over without much trouble. Vkm Dental Clinic has been in this part of Karur for some time. Inside, it's just a regular setup with the chairs and the tools we need for teeth. We see a lot of people who are just passing through and others who live right around the corner. The noise from the bus stand reaches us sometimes, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. We don't spend much on decorations or flashy signs. Most folks find us because they've got a toothache or need a cleaning and we happen to be right there. It’s a straightforward operation. We open up in the morning, check who's on the list, and get to work. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit small when a whole family comes in together. We just pull up extra stools if we have to. It's not a corporate office with a front desk manager in a suit. Usually, it's just one of us handling the appointments and the drills at the same time. People in Karur know us as the place by the station. We keep our instruments clean and the floor swept, and that’s what matters most to the patients who come through our door. We've been here for years and plan to stay for a long time more yet.
