About Visa Cotton – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Karur
We’ve been at 5, Ramakrishnapuram East for a while now. Dealing with cotton isn't always easy, but it’s what we know. Most days involve checking stock or talking to folks about their orders. It’s a bit dusty in the office sometimes. We handle different types of fabric and try to keep things moving. The neighborhood is busy, which helps. Some of the machines are old but they still do the job. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk and some samples lying around. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us sorting through bales or writing out shipping labels by hand. It’s a lot of work. The sun gets quite hot in the afternoons here. We usually take a break then. We’ve seen the area change over the years. Some businesses left, others came in, but we stayed put. It’s just how it is. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to make calls to figure it out. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a few of us making sure the cotton gets where it needs to go. We keep the doors open and just get on with it. There is always something to fix or a stack of papers to move. Every morning we start by sweeping the floor and checking the mail. It's a simple routine that keeps us busy from start to finish.
