Amaravathi Spun Pipes

We are located out in Balarajapuram Village, near the Veerarakkiam R. S. in Karur. It is a quiet place except for the noise from our yard. We make spun pipes here and have been doing it for quite some time now. Most of the people working here are from the village or nearby areas. We don't have a fancy office or any big signs at the entrance. It's just a large open space where we cast the concrete and let it set. The dust is part of our daily life and you can see it on everything by midday. We usually start very early when the air is still cool. Being near the railway station helps people find us, but we are mostly tucked away. We don't do much in terms of advertising or marketing. People just know we are here in Karur. Sometimes the weather makes the work difficult, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We have a small shed where we keep our tools and a basic desk for the paperwork. We use an old ledger to keep track of things. It’s not a high-tech operation, just honest work with our hands and machines. We spend most of our time out in the sun checking the pipes. If you come by, you might find us sitting under the tree during our lunch break. It's a simple way to run a business but it works for us.
