Suriya Hospital

Working here at the Nrmp Complex on Covai Road means we see a lot of different people every day. It’s a big building, number 88, and it stays quite busy from the early morning until late at night. The hallways are usually full of families waiting or staff rushing around to get things done. We spend most of our time just managing the flow of patients coming in from the surrounding areas. It’s a hospital, so there is always something going on, whether it's a routine checkup or someone coming in with something more urgent. The lobby can get a bit loud when it's crowded, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We try to keep the rooms tidy, though with so many people passing through, it’s a constant job for the cleaning crew. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the shortcuts through the complex like the back of our hands. Covai Road is always packed with cars, so we hear the honking all day long while we’re working. It’s a practical place, focused on getting people what they need so they can go home. We don't have much time for small talk, but we do our best to listen when someone is explaining what’s wrong. The shifts are long and sometimes tiring, but seeing someone walk out feeling better than when they came in is why we stay.
