Our office is right there in the middle of things. Manmangalam Taluk is where most of our people come from. We spend our mornings getting the books ready and waiting for the first few people to walk through the door. It gets a little noisy with the traffic outside but inside it is mostly quiet work. We have been in this building for some time. Karur is a busy place especially with all the textile stuff going on nearby. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It is just desks and some registers. People come in to talk about their chit installments or just to see when the next group meeting is happening. We know a lot of the families around here. It makes the day go by faster when you have someone to chat with while you fill out the forms. Shri Pugazhi Towers is a landmark most locals know. We are just one of the offices in the block. We don't spend much on decorations or big lights. We just keep the place tidy and make sure the accounts are clear for everyone to see. It’s just how we do things in this part of town. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break, then it is back to the files.
