Shanmugavel Constructions Private Limited

We have been around Tharagampatty for a while now. S. Shanmugam started this whole thing, following what his father, Samiyappa Pillai, taught him about the trade. It is mostly about building stuff for folks who live nearby in the Karur area. We spend our days dealing with piles of bricks, bags of cement, and a whole lot of dust. Karur is where we are based out of, and honestly, the heat can get pretty bad some months, but the work has to happen anyway. People around here just know us as the Shanmugavel Constructions crew. It is not always an easy job keeping every single thing on track. We mostly do small to medium work around the local villages and the main town. There is a lot of walking around sites and checking on how the walls are coming up. We do not have some big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere; we just use our place here in Tharagampatty. Most of our days start very early before the sun gets too high. We have a few guys on the team who have stayed with us for years. We try to get things finished when we say we will, though sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or materials not arriving. That is just how it goes in this line of work. We handle the paperwork and the actual building too. If you are driving through, you might see us out there working on something new.
