About Sarada Ceramics – Metals & Minerals in Karur
Sarada Ceramics has been a part of Karur for a long time. We are located at 87/W Sivabiulding Line, right across from the old bus stand. My father, A. Kesavan, was a teacher here, and that is how many people know our family. The shop is usually full of tiles and ceramic pieces stacked up high. It’s a busy spot because of the bus stand, so there is always people moving around and buses honking. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a practical place where people can come and look at what we have in stock. The floors are usually a bit dusty from all the crates moving in and out. We spend a lot of time talking to local people who are building their homes or just fixing a bathroom. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy boxes and making sure nothing gets chipped. We don't use any marketing tricks or fancy sales talk. We just show the customers what we have and tell them the price. Karur is a small enough place where your reputation matters, so we just try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Being on Sivabiulding Line is convenient for most folks. Sometimes the shop gets crowded and we have to ask people to wait a bit. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We like being in this part of town despite all the noise.
