Kanara Krafts

Our shop is located at No. 90 on the Salem Bye Pass Road. It’s right on the main stretch, so we see a lot of cars and trucks passing by all day long. The noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a week or two of working here. We have a fair amount of space, which is good because we tend to keep a lot of materials on hand. It’s not the most modern building, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough room to move around. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the trucks to talking to whoever walks through the door. There aren’t any specialized departments or managers; we all just do whatever needs to be done at the moment. Some days that means cleaning the floor, and other days it’s mostly paperwork. We don’t use any complicated systems to run things. A simple notebook and some pens usually do the trick for us. People stop in because they saw the sign while driving past, or maybe someone told them we were here. We don’t put much effort into being flashy. It’s a dusty, busy place where we put in our hours and go home. That’s really all there is to it. We just keep the doors open and see who the day brings in. No one here wears a suit, and we like the casual vibe of the place while we get our tasks done.
