S S Plastics

Our workshop is out in Velliyanai North, specifically at No. 4/102 Thaliyapatti. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city areas, which is fine by us. S S Plastics is a straightforward operation. We have a decent-sized shed where we keep our machines and the raw plastic materials. The road out here isn't always the smoothest, especially after it rains, but the delivery trucks still find us okay. It’s mostly quiet around Thaliyapatti, except for the sound of our equipment. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There’s a lot of dust from the surrounding fields, so we end up sweeping the floor a few times a day. We aren't big on paperwork, but we keep our records in some old binders on the shelf. The staff is mostly local people from nearby. We know each other's families and what's going on in the village. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we stay busy. We don't have a website or fancy branding. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just seeing the sign on the gate. We have some plastic crates piled up in the yard and a few old chairs for when someone drops by to talk. It's a humble place, just a simple shed where we do our daily work and try to keep things moving along steadily. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have. It is what it is.
