S S Hospital

We've been at this spot on 3rd Cross in Anna Nagar for quite a while. It sits right near the old Kumar Mills, which is a landmark most people in Thanthonimalai use to find us. The hospital is a simple building where we see people from the surrounding streets. It’s not one of those massive medical centers, but it serves the folks who live nearby. We have a few wards and a place for people to wait their turn. On some mornings, the waiting room gets quite full, and you can hear the sounds of the street outside. We handle all sorts of medical needs, from minor injuries to people who are feeling under the weather. Our staff is used to the local pace and they know many of the patients by name. We don't use a lot of complicated systems here. We just write things down and make sure people get the attention they need. The floors are stone and the walls have been painted the same color for years. It’s a familiar place for the community. We spend our days checking temperatures, talking to worried parents, and making sure the patients are as comfortable as they can be. It’s just regular work in a local neighborhood hospital. We don't have anything flashy, just the basic rooms and beds and medical supplies. People come here because it’s close to home and they know what to expect when they walk in. It is just how things are done here.
