We are tucked away at number 10 in Thiru Nagar, over in the Kamarajapuram North area. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. Mostly, we are busy packing boxes and checking manifests. The front gate squeaks a bit when you open it, and we always say we’ll oil it, but we never do. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and packing tape. We handle stuff going out to different places, so there’s always a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard lying around. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure the trucks are coming at the right time. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the warehouse side of things pretty warm, so we take breaks in the small office where the fan works better. We know the neighbors well; they usually see our van pulling in and out throughout the day. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team of us. We focus on getting the counts right so nothing gets sent back. My wife helps with the paperwork on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve fallen into over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing here in Thiru Nagar.
