Trident Textiles

Trident Textiles is located at Trident Home on Main Road, which is part of Amarjothi Gardens in North Gandhi Gramam, Karur. Karur is well known for its textile industry, and we are right in the thick of it. Our building is a busy place where we handle all sorts of fabrics and home textile items. It’s a lot of thread, colors, and rolls of cloth sitting around. We aren't a high-fashion boutique with spotlights. We are more of a practical operation where we look at the weave and the weight of the fabric. The staff here knows their stuff because many have lived in Karur their whole lives and textiles are just what people do here. Main Road can get pretty loud with all the traffic, but inside the building, we are focused on the orders. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the finish on the linens and making sure the packing is done right so nothing gets damaged during transport. It’s a steady job that involves a lot of routine, but we don't mind that. We like being part of the history of textiles in Tamil Nadu. We don't make big promises or use fancy language to describe our cloth. It’s just good, honest textile work done by people who understand the trade from the ground up. Sometimes the warehouse gets a bit warm in the summer afternoons, but the fans keep the air moving enough for us to keep working. We see a lot of different people coming through for pick-ups throughout the day.
