Nandini Fabrics

If you're looking for us, we are down at Sf No. 181 / 1 in Saravana Nagar. It’s over in the Natthamedu area of Aatthur. Nandini Fabrics has been operating from this little corner for a bit. It’s mostly just us handling the rolls of cloth and making sure the looms are running like they should. Sometimes the noise from the machines makes it hard to hear, so we end up shouting to get a point across. It’s dusty work, and there are threads everywhere you look. We aren't a big fancy office. Most of the space is just filled with stacks of fabric and the smell of the loom room. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the day is spent checking the weave or moving stock around. The weather gets hot here in Aatthur, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. It’s just a plain business doing what we know how to do. No one here wears a tie or anything like that. We just wear what's comfortable and get to work. It’s a simple setup, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't do much in terms of advertising, we just focus on the fabric.
