We started Mavericks Momz Welfare Association here in Velayuthampalayam quite some time back. If you are looking for us, we are right at No.1/2 in Valluvar Nagar. We set up in the Sri Malai AmmanComplex, which most people around here know pretty well. Pugalur TK is where we call home. It isn't a huge place, but it keeps us busy. Most of the women involved live nearby. We just wanted a way to help out the moms and families in our specific part of the 639117 zip code. It's mostly just us chatting and trying to figure out how to make things a little easier for everyone. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just this spot in the complex. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. Living in Pugalur, you get to know your neighbors fast. We focus on the locals in Valluvar Nagar mostly. It’s a simple setup. We are just a group of people from the area who decided to put a name on what we were already doing. No one here is a professional writer or anything, so we just talk plain English. If you're walking by Sri Malai AmmanComplex, you'll see where we sit. It's nothing fancy, just a room with some old chairs and a lot of talk about what's going on in the neighborhood. We stay busy with the day-to-day stuff and try to keep things running.
