Our place is located at 1/40 1 in the Thanneer Panthal area, which is part of the Pavithrampugalur taluk in Karur. It is a bit of a quieter spot compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We run the Nidhi company from here, helping out the local folks with their savings and small credit needs. The office is basically just a simple room with the necessary furniture to get the work done. Since we are in a more rural or semi-urban part of Karur, things move at a slightly slower pace, and we get to know our customers personally. People walk in, have a bit of a chat about the weather or the crops, and then we get to the business side of things. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word usually just travels from person to person in the village. We keep our books updated every day and make sure everything is transparent for anyone who wants to check their balance. It is a practical way of working that has worked for us and the community here for a while. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or the heat, but we just manage it and keep the doors open for whoever needs to drop by during the day. It is a very humble operation, but it keeps us busy and we like being a steady part of the local scene in the taluk area.
