Lotus Enineering

You can find Lotus Enineering over on Thirumanilayure Road at 44C. It’s a modest setup we have here. We do a bit of everything when it comes to mechanical work and parts. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we have the gear we need to get things finished. We started out with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as we could afford them. It’s mostly just us working here every day. We don’t have a sales team or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Some of the equipment is old, but it still works perfectly fine for the jobs we take on. We’ve had customers coming back for years because they know we are just down the road and we don't overcomplicate things. Sometimes we have to work through the weekend to finish a project, but that's part of running a small business like this. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. We like the location even if the traffic gets heavy in the afternoons. It's just a regular engineering shop where we try to do right by the people who walk in. No frills, just hard work. We keep the scrap metal piled up in the corner until the collector comes around. It’s a simple way of living and we wouldn’t have it any other way really.
