We are located down at No 85 in Narasimha Puram(South), which most folks around Karur know well enough. Karur Cables Pvt. Ltd. isn't some fancy high-rise office; it’s just a place where we handle a lot of wiring and cable orders every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with rolls of cable sitting around, but we manage to keep things moving. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool while we sort through the inventory. Most of the people who come in are local contractors or guys looking for specific lengths of wire for a home project. We don't really have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Usually, someone is drinking tea or checking a packing slip. We try to keep the popular stuff in stock so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy spools and making sure the labels are right. If you’re driving down this way, look for the sign near the corner. It’s been our spot for a good while now. We know the neighbors and they know us, which makes the long days go by a bit faster. It's just a regular workplace doing what we know how to do with cables and wires.
