K. Mohan Textiles

You can find K. Mohan Textiles right on Sivanandha Street, over in the Vengamedu area. We are at number 56, just off Periyar Salai. It is a busy part of town, especially with all the textile work going on around us. Our days usually start pretty early. There is always a lot of fabric to look at and sorting that needs doing. The air smells like cotton and dust most of the time, but we are used to it by now. It is hard work, and the building gets warm in the afternoons. We don't have much time for sitting around. Usually, there are rolls of cloth being moved or someone is calling about a shipment. We have been here for a while and know most of the people on the street. It’s a community where everyone is doing something similar. We just try to keep our head down and do what needs to be done. The office part is tucked in the back where it is a little quieter. We deal with all sorts of orders, big and small. Sometimes things get delayed, and we have to scramble to fix it, but that’s just how this business is. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one. It's just us here, working through the piles of textiles every day and making sure the trucks are loaded right before they head out.
