Kg Hospital

Being located right on SH74 means we see a lot of different things every day. Kg Hospital isn't one of those massive city medical centers with glass walls and shiny elevators. We’re a bit more grounded than that. The highway is always busy with trucks and people traveling between towns, so there is a constant hum of traffic outside our doors. We’ve set things up here to be as helpful as possible for the folks who live around this area or those just passing through who run into trouble. Our rooms are basic but they stay clean, and we try to keep the wait times from getting too out of hand, though some days are tougher than others. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the local roads and the families who come in. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t spend money on big billboards or flashy slogans. We just focus on the patients who are right in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, or the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we keep the doors open regardless. It’s steady work and it feels important to be here on the highway where people actually need us. We just do our jobs and try to help. We are just a local team doing our part for the neighborhood.
