Deepa Kannan Hospital

You can find us over at No. 33 Muthu Nagar. We have been operating this hospital for many years now. It started out much smaller than it is today, but we added on as the needs of the neighborhood grew. It is a very local kind of place. Most of our staff live within walking distance, so we are all part of the same community. The building itself is pretty plain. We haven't spent much on fancy paint or decorations because that's not what a hospital is for. We have the wards, the treatment rooms, and a small area where families can wait. Muthu Nagar is generally a quiet area, which is good for the patients who need to rest. We see a lot of different cases every day. Some people just need a quick check, while others have to stay with us for a bit. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just the doctors and the nurses making decisions based on what they see in front of them. Sometimes things get a little disorganized when it’s busy, but we always manage to get everyone taken care of. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just provide medical care to whoever walks through the door at No. 33. It is a tough job but it is a necessary one for this part of town. We just keep going, day after day.
