Our place is on the first floor of No. 198 Kamarajapuram West. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying big boxes up and down can be a bit of a workout every day. We’ve been operating out of this floor for a while, and it’s mostly just shelves, packing tape, and weighing scales everywhere you look. The morning is usually the busiest time because that’s when the first batch of parcels arrives. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure addresses are written clearly so nothing gets lost. Kamarajapuram West is a decent area, and we’ve gotten to know the regular delivery drivers who stop by. Sometimes the fans don't quite reach the back corner where we store the packing materials, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the building. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers, which can get tedious, but it’s the job. We keep a pot of coffee in the corner, though it’s usually cold by the time anyone remembers to drink it. It’s a basic operation without any frills, just focusing on getting the boxes from one point to the next without too much trouble along the way. We keep the ledger updated and wait for the next delivery truck to pull up.
