As Dye Chem

We are located over on Gavipuram Main Road at number 64. It is a pretty old building, and you can tell by the way the pipes creak sometimes when we turn the water on. As Dye Chem is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is mostly chemicals and dyes, so it smells a bit sharp inside, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and checking labels on the jugs. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. Our hands usually have some kind of blue or red stain on them by the afternoon. We have a small, cluttered desk in the corner where we handle the bills and phone calls. It gets pretty loud with the trucks outside, so we usually have to shout a bit when someone calls. There isn't any fancy decor or comfortable chairs here. We just have metal shelves and wooden crates everywhere. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't really have a big sign or anything, just the address on the wall. Most people who come here have been coming for a long time. It feels more like a workshop than a store. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for the day. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, which is annoying.
