Smaart Colours

Smaart Colours is located over at Shop No. 596 in Aandankovil Pudhur, right along Covai Road. Actually, our full spot is A24 1/1 in Sai Baba Nagar, which sits behind the Sansar Hotel on the 90 Feet Road in Daravi Sion. It sounds like a lot of directions, but once you get near the hotel, you’ll find us easily. We deal with colors and fabrics mostly. The shop is usually filled with different rolls of cloth and samples. It can get a bit dusty with all the materials moving around, but that is just how it goes here. We have been in this part of Daravi for a while. The 90 Feet Road is always busy, so there is constant noise outside. Inside, we just focus on getting the orders ready. Sometimes we run behind when the power goes out or the delivery truck is stuck in traffic. That is just life in Sion. We are just a small team working out of this space. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a work space where we handle the dyeing and the colors. We keep our doors open for the local traders and anyone else who needs what we have. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning till late. The layout is a bit cramped, but we make it work by stacking things high. We are just regular people making a living with colors.
