Senthil & Company

It’s pretty quiet here at 65, Karuppur in Omalur most mornings until the sun gets high. We’ve been running Senthil & Company from this spot for a while now. Most days just involve getting through the list of things people need. We aren’t a big operation with fancy desks or anything like that. It’s just us handling what comes through the door. The address is easy to find if you know the area well enough. We keep the doors open and usually have a fan going because it gets quite warm in this part of Omalur. There’s always a bit of dust from the road and people passing by on their way to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at ledger books. It’s not flashy work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish up. The neighbors know us and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We handle the materials and make sure things go where they are supposed to go. It is mostly just hard work and making sure we don't lose track of the small details. If you stop by, you'll probably see us moving around some crates or writing down notes on scraps of paper. We just try to get the jobs done and go home to our families. It’s a simple life here in the Karuppur area.
