Amrita Super Granites

You can find us at number 85, Amrithapuri. Amrita Super Granites is a local spot where we handle mostly granite slabs for all sorts of building projects. The yard isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock so it doesn't get in the way of the gate when a truck arrives. Every morning starts with a quick check of the machines and a look at what orders need to be ready by the afternoon. It’s not glamorous work. There is water everywhere from the polishing process and the air always smells a bit like wet earth and stone. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and they know how to handle the heavy slabs without breaking them. Customers usually wander in and spend a long time looking at the veins in the granite. We let them take their time. There’s no point in rushing someone when they are picking something that will be in their house for thirty years. We don't have any polished brochures or marketing slogans to give out. We just have the stone. We keep our prices fair and try to be honest about any flaws we see in a particular batch. It’s just a regular business, trying to do things right and keep the yard running smoothly every day of the week. We keep a dog in the yard for company and safety at night.
