Divya Creations

We are tucked away at 3872 Mohalla Kaulsar. It’s one of those older neighborhoods where the streets are narrow and everyone knows each other’s business. Divya Creations is more of a workshop than anything else. We have sewing machines and scraps of fabric all over the place. It’s not the neatest looking place, but we know where everything is. Most of what we do is done by hand or with the older machines we’ve had for years. There are usually three or four of us working at a time, and it gets pretty noisy with the humming of the motors. We don't have a big showroom. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors and come by the house. We spend a lot of time making sure the stitching is right and the colors match. Sometimes the light in the Mohalla isn't great, so we have to use extra lamps even during the day. We’ve lived and worked in this same building for a long time. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people don't seem to mind. We aren't looking to become a giant factory; we just like making things here in Kaulsar. Every day is about the same, just cutting, sewing, and finishing up orders. It’s what we know how to do best. We keep our overhead low and just focus on the fabric in front of us.
