Padmavathi Enterprises is right on Bangalore Road, specifically in the Durga Hotel Line. We are situated beside the Punjabi Dhaba, which means we spend all day smelling whatever they are cooking next door. It’s 76-118Ed if you are looking for the door number. Being on such a major road means there is a constant flow of trucks and cars going past. Our shop is pretty simple inside. We have a long counter and some shelving units for our goods. We spend the day talking to people who are traveling or those who work nearby. It gets a bit dusty with all the vehicles, but we do our best to keep it clean enough. We are just a small team here, so we all know how to do everything that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just go out and sit on the stools by the front door until it comes back on. It’s a good chance to get some fresh air. We have some regular customers who stop in just to say hello or talk about the latest news in the area. Everyone knows where the Punjabi Dhaba is, so we never have to give long directions to our place. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a simple notebook to keep track of things. We’ve been here for years and we like the busy atmosphere of the highway. It feels like we are part of the scenery here on Bangalore Road.
