M/S Tebma Shipyards Ltd.

We are located down in Udupi, in the Mahalaxminagar area near Ambagilu. Our place is called Shriraksha. It’s a bit different being in a coastal town compared to the big cities. The air is salty, and you can feel the humidity as soon as you step outside. We work on things related to the shipyard, which means a lot of technical drawings and talking to the crew down by the water. Our office is a bit tucked away, so it’s relatively quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on complicated plans. We have a few desks and some old cabinets filled with years of records. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of us wear casual clothes and just focus on getting the day's work done. Sometimes we have to head out to the site, and that’s when it gets really busy and loud. Back at the office, it’s mostly just the sound of the fans and the occasional motorbike passing by. We like it this way. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know the area and the industry. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. We just make sure the boats and the parts are handled properly. It’s a good way to live, being close to the sea and having steady work to do every morning. We just keep the gears turning.
