Hotel Moti Mahal is a place people in Mangalore usually know about. While we are associated with the Hampankatta area, our actual location for this part of the business is 3/34, Coconut Garden in Kadri. Mangalore is a coastal city, so things can get a bit humid and salty, but we’re used to it. The Kadri area is a bit different from the main center, and being in Coconut Garden feels a bit more like the local neighborhood. We aren't one of those new, shiny glass hotels. Our building has been around and has some character to it. We spend our time making sure the rooms are okay and that the people staying with us have a decent place to rest. Running a hotel in Karnataka means dealing with all sorts of travelers, from business people to families. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and the maintenance. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a polished corporate look. We just want to be a place where people can stay without trouble. The staff here has been with us for a while, and we all just do our jobs. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we fix it as soon as we can. It’s just a normal hotel life.
